Historical Milestones
Opened in 1957 to replace FC Barcelona's old ground Les Corts, Camp Nou was expanded for the 1982 FIFA World Cup. It is currently undergoing a massive renovation project (Espai Barça) to add a roof and increase capacity to 105,000.
