Venue Description

The Allianz Arena is the state-of-the-art home of German giants Bayern Munich. Famous for its unique exterior made of inflated ETFE plastic panels, the stadium glows brilliant red for Bayern Munich games, white for the German national team, and blue for special occasions. It features a completely covered seating bowl with perfect acoustics that amplify the fans' cheers. Located in the northern outskirts of Munich, it offers a spacious fan plaza, extensive catering, and the FC Bayern Museum, making it a benchmark for modern stadium construction.

Historical Milestones

Opened in 2005 as a joint project between Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich (who later moved out). It hosted the 2006 World Cup opening match and the 2012 UEFA Champions League final.
